Driving license: All renters must hold a European or International Driving License, issued at least three years prior to the rental date.
Age: All renters must be at least 23 years old.
Method of Payment: For all categories, a valid credit card accepted by Alfa rent a car must be presented for any necessary pre-authorization payments as well as for advance payments and for the preparation of the final rental invoice. 50% of the total cost is required as a deposit for confirming the reservation.
Fine: The renter assumes full responsibility for traffic violations and pays the respective fines.
Insurance: All authorized drivers of Alfa rent a car vehicles are covered against fire damage to the rented vehicle and third-party liability insurance for death, injury and property damage. These two coverages are subject to the general clauses of the insurance contract concluded by Alfa rent a car with its insurer.
No insurance contract covers:
– An accident caused after illegal use of drugs and/or alcohol abuse.
– Damages at the bottom of the car
Additional drivers: A supplement of 2 euros per day must be paid for each additional driver.
Airport supplement: A supplement of 30 euros to the initial price for any airport pick-up or drop-off.
Supplement for refueling: None. The car will be delivered with a certain level of gasoline and the driver must return it with the same level.
Seats for children: Available on reservation with a daily supplement of 2 euros.
GPS: Available on reservation with a daily supplement of 5 euros.
Availability of vehicles: The company reserves the right to supply a vehicle model different from the model initially reserved, equivalent or larger.
Pick-up – drop-off: No supplement for receipt or delivery of vehicle outside of opening hours. Rental rates are calculated upon the pick-up / drop-off of the car at the same location (with the possibility of pick-up / drop-off at different locations).
Taxes: All tariffs and supplements contained in this brochure are subject to VAT.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
• YOU CAN CANCEL 4 DAYS BEFORE YOUR RESERVATION DATE.
• IF CANCELLATION IS MADE AFTER THE 4 DAYS, ΤΗΕΝ 30% OF YOUR RESERVATION IS CHARGED.
